SAC's two-year CIT program helps 10th and 11th graders move from camper life into service, responsibility, and future staff readiness.

Who it's for

SAC's CIT path is for teens entering 10th or 11th grade who want to grow from participants into helpers and role models. The program includes an interview with the Camp Director and is designed for teens ready to take on real responsibility.

Confidence and responsibility

SAC describes the program as a place for teens to increase confidence, become more responsible, and experience special camp programming together.

CIT

Foundational counselor skills

CITs learn camper safety, homesickness strategies, appropriate boundaries, camper development, and counselor techniques.

Staff Path

Hands-on bunk support

CITs assist counselors with daily bunk responsibilities, help organize programs such as Color Wars, lead activities, and take on camp jobs.

Application

Interview required

Candidates interview with the Camp Director before joining the leadership track.
