August 15th, 2016 – SAC’s Got Talent!

Today, the sun was bright, the songs were loud and the smiles plentiful. After enjoying a pancake breakfast and learning about the tradition of the Avraham Se’ev with Chacham and Papoo, Al Maimon – kids scurried off to a day filled with SACtivities. Some of them included: wading in the river with Quinn, making challah boards at Art Class, sewing with Nona Jeanne Maimon, dance with Noah Kalander, swimming in the lake, and sports.

Campers also spent some free time preparing for our Annual SAC Talent Show, which may have been one of our best yet. Campers and counselors strutted their stuff and showed their best, with Jeffrey Owen and Akiva Greenberg as MC. The lineup was as follows:

• Evan Kaufthal – Gymnastics
• Abby Tache and Eden Pardau- Gymnastics
• Ruth Nahmad – break dancing
• Julia and Jeffrey Owen – lip sync battle  with different costumes
• Paulina Gamel and Abby Tache – singing to Fight Song
• Jojo Gamel – Little Einstein theme song
• Zach Benezra and Ezra Cohanim – Ode to Haham
• Marilyn Gladstein and Esther Almo – lip sync dance

In our last few days of camp, we look forward to spending quality time with our bunks, giving out bunk awards, writing camp songs, and cherishing the good times we’ve had at SAC16.
